Active Protection

CodeWrap Pro BI provides advanced anti-piracy protection using our Patent pending technology(ref. Pat. Appln. No. 2004203752). Software is protected in client, server and even Citrix environments - regardless of the media used. CodeWrap Pro BI can even protect content including audio and video^.

CodeWrap Pro BI provides a simple one-screen product activation process that automatically registers over the internet. CodeWrap Pro BI uses sophisticated methods to navigate through most corporate firewalls. If direct internet access is unavailable, CodeWrap Pro BI automatically provides web form and phone registration alternatives.

Fax and post-based registration methods are also supported.

Market Intelligence

Comprehensive monthly reports are provided to you including:

• Full registration details including contact details are captured for every registration and reported back to you.
• Piracy attempts are pre-analysed, allowing you to assess customer behaviour and target specific customers for additional licences.

Real-time Customer Management

You have full control over off-line registrations using the supplied Remote Registration Console (RRC), including intelligent feedback of user behaviour, enabling, disabling and resetting serial numbers (even after issuing) for users. Fax and post registration are also supported via the RRC.

An exciting feature of CodeWrap Pro BI is the immediate email notification whenever a registration takes place. You are emailed immediately when a specific customer registers the software.

CodeWrap Pro BI also allows selective tailored email notifications to be sent to your customers. For example, you may wish to notify customers that a product upgrade is available.

Self-managed Feature Control

Because CodeWrap Pro BI uses sophisticated server-based controls, it allows you to configure your software for normal use or for a fixed demonstration period without making any changes to the client software. You can even change the registration behaviour after the software has been distributed.

Beyond standard demonstration versions, CodeWrap Pro BI allows you to extend demos after expiry and setup subscription-based licensing. For example, letting the software run for 12 months and extending the subscription another 12 months when a new serial number is entered.

Another major enhancement with CodeWrap Pro BI, allows you to configure up to 125 possible module codes for each serial number, allowing you to control the behaviour of your software based on the code returned from the server. This is useful for switching on or off behaviour within your software based on a specific licence arrangement or simply to control what version releases can be used without having to change the underlying product code.
